This past season the Mid-Pacific girl’s volleyball team played Division 1 in the ILH, finishing off the season with a 3-9 record. Last year, the team played in Division 2 with a 14-3 record.

“We grew a lot as a team” said junior Alyssa Muraoka.

This year’s team also had younger players, with four freshman players. Despite the age difference, the team made fast moves, thinking quicker as they’re on the D1 team, said Muraoka

“Good off-season volleyball training is a must, striving for technical precision and getting stronger physically,” Coach Lake said.

“Bring the fire, cause you’re going to smash it next year,” said Senior #12 Zannah Suehiro.
